PERFORMACOL™ 550 ALCOHOL is a fully saturated long chain, linear alcohol from an exclusive reaction process. This high molecular weight alcohol is composed of 80-85% primary alcohol. It has the following benefits efficient oil structure, improved stock stability, uniform payout, film forming, and water resistance. It provides hair and skin conditioning and compatibility with silicones, and other cosmetic oils. Also acts as an oil thickening, rheology modifier which helps in SPF enhancement and oil phase stability. view less

Viscopon is a synthetic thickener suitable for use in liquid detergents and the like. It is compatible with most anionic, nonionic, cationic and amphoteric surfactants used in household cleaning product formulations. It exhibits instability when applied with optical brighteners, acidic formulations (HF / HCl) or too alkaline (pH tolerance of 8.5). In Alkyl Ether Sulfates combination with providing viscosity improvements, foam and cloud point. The use of Viscopon in liquid detergent formulations do not require the use of electrolytes, showing better response when combined with magnesium sulfate. Indicated at concentrations ranging from 0.5% to 2.0% as the viscosity increase, may be used provided that higher concentrations previously evaluated. view less
