Spectrastat™ OL is a complete system for self-preserving cosmetic and personal care products. It is especially useful in cold-process applications, including wet wipes. It is completely liquid, homogeneous, and pumpable even at low temperatures. Spectrastat™ OL contains no biocides or traditional preservatives. Instead it uses multifunctional agents that have excellent efficacy as biostatic and fungistatic agents. Spectrastat™ OL is ideal for personal care products as an alternative to parabens, phenoxyethanol, MIT or other preservatives that may be undesirable. Spectrastat™ OL is effective over a broad pH range from pH 4 - 8 with a typical use level of 1.0 - 2.0% (w/w). Spectrastat™ OL is ideal for wet wipes, baby wipes, toddler wipes, and cleansing wipes. It is also effective in typical personal care products such as creams, lotions, shower gels, and color cosmetics. It may be added to the water phase, at ambient or hot temperatures, or may be added post-emulsification of O/W emulsions. view less

Spectrastat™ PHL is a complete system for self-preserving cosmetic and personal care products. It is especially useful in high water, cold-process, and high clarity applications: e.g. toners, surfactant systems, and wet wipes. It is completely liquid, homogeneous, and pumpable even at low temperatures. Spectrastat™ PHL is suitable for sensitive facial applications, where low irritation is required. Spectrastat™ PHL contains no biocides or typical preservatives. Instead it uses multifunctional agents that have excellent efficacy as biostatic and fungistatic agents. Spectrastat™ PHL is ideal for personal care products as an alternative to parabens, phenoxyethanol, MIT or other preservatives that may be undesirable. Spectrastat™ PHL is effective over a broad pH range from pH 4 - 8 with a typical use level of 2.0 - 3.0% (w/w). Spectrastat™ PHL is also effective in typical personal care products such as creams, lotions, shower gels, and color cosmetics. Zeastat™ is a 100% natural multi-functional agent that provides antimicrobial control in cosmetic and personal care products. Zeastat™ contains no biocides or traditional preservatives. It creates a fungistatic environment that prevents growth of microorganisms. It is primarily effective against yeast & mold and can be combined with a bacteria control agent, like Lexgard Natural GC88 MB (Glyceryl Caprylate) or Lexgard® O (Caprylyl Glycol) for broad spectrum protection. Zeastat™ is effective over a broad pH range from pH 4 - 8 with a typical use level of 1.0 - 2.0% (w/w). Zeastat™ is cold processable and water soluble and can be used in emulsion, anhydrous, and surfactant systems. These include creams, lotions, shower gels, and color cosmetics.
