COSMOL™ 43V is a colorless high polar fatty acid ester consisting of isostearic acid and diglycerin while also contains hydroxyl groups in the molecule. It is an alternative to castor oil. It is superior to castor oil in oxidative stability, compatibility with oils or organic solvents, miscibility, pigment dispersing ability, and sweating prevention of solid cosmetics. It is recommended for use in lipsticks, lip balm, foundation, hot pours, gels, and skin care and color emulsions. It is excellent in color cosmetics formulae. view less
