Andiroba Oil is composed of palmitic, oleic, linoleic and stearic acids, and an unsaponifiable fraction (2 to 5%), formed mainly by terpenoids, specifically limonoids, which are the agents responsible for the biological activity of the oil. It has high humectant activity, being indicated for product formulas for dermal renewal. It also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties.
