LAS 96% is an anionic surfactant obtained by sulphonation of the LAB - Linear Alkylbenzene with lateral paraffinic chain of 10 - 13 carbon atoms (petrochemical intermediate) and SO3 as a sulfonating agent. It shows excellent detergency performance, dispersing and wetting power, solubility and hydrolysis resistance, may be used in both acid and alkaline formulations.
