Epitex 611S

Epitex 611S is an epoxy ester emulsion used for modifying polyvinyl acetate emulsions and thermosplastic latex resins. It imparts epoxy characteristics to the latex coating and provides improved adhesion to concrete. Due to its excellent adhesive qualities, 611S allows a variety of topcoats to be applied to the substrate, such as: polyesters, urethanes, and varnish. Incorporating 611S into the base coat over old chalky paint films on masonry substrates assists in tying down the loose chalk and improves intercoat adhesion of the conventional emulsion topcoats.
