Dynasylan® 4148 | Evonik Operations GmbH, BL Silanes | Dynasylan® 4148 is a ready-to-use silane, soluble in water and most organic solvents. Dynasylan® 4148 is a rheological additive which reduces the viscosity of highly-filled polymer systems, like aluminum trihydroxide-filled polyesters or SMC-pastes. Contrary to most other organofunctional silanes, Dynasylan® 4148 features chemical polarity but has a non-reactive polar group. Furthermore, Dynasylan® 4148 can be used as anti-settling...view more Dynasylan® 4148 is a ready-to-use silane, soluble in water and most organic solvents. Zinc dust paints formulated in this manner have an excellent shelf life in the absence of moisture. Dynasylan® MKS is a binder with superior anti-settling properties. Paints formulated with Dynasylan® MKS can easily be stirred-up even after longer storage times. After processing, the coating will cure in the presence of atmospheric moisture. Overcoating with conventional topcoat systems is facile. Zinc dust paints based on Dynasylan® MKS provide effective protection of steel against corrosion in aggressive industrial and coastal environments at elevated temperatures (up to 420 °C) in the presence of chemicals. view less |
