SILCOLEASE PC-850 is an adhesion-promoting additive for use with SILCOLEASE polyaddition cured solventless and cationic UV/EB cured release coatings. SILCOLEASE PC-850 is designed to significantly improve the anchorage of these release coatings to polyester film. A 1% addition to the formulated bath will produce excellent anchorage even under high humidity conditions. SILCOLEASE PC-850 does not require excessive surface treatment of PET thus providing energy savings nor does SILCOLEASE PC-850 slow cure response as compared to other adhesion promoters. For best results, this adhesion promoter ought to be added to the catalyzed silicone release coating as soon as possible before initiating the coating operation. view less
