Chimatt® 900 is one of the most widely used matting agents for epoxy systems. It is a di-salt of a polycarbarboxylic acid and an imidazoline. Pure epoxy or epoxy/polyester systems formulated with Chimatt® 900 show a good matting effect down to the semi-gloss range (typically 20 - 100 %) and an excellent flow. Film color and physical properties can be partly controlled by pigments and fillers. This product is an off-white very fine powder. view less

Chimatt® 766 is a solid, color-stable flatting agent for epoxy and polyester powder coatings for both indoor and out applications. Besides having no adverse effect on the flow properties, shade or weathering resistance, the most important advantage of Chimatt® 766 for powder coatings is that the mechanical properties of coatings are either completely unchanged or altered to only an insignificant extent, depending on the types of polyester.
