HALOX® 700 by ICL is a white, non-refractive, zinc & aluminum phosphate-based corrosion-inhibiting pigment for protective coatings. It is designed to provide coatings with early and long-term corrosion protection. It is recommended for solvent- and water-based epoxy and urethane coatings. It is suitable for alkyd and acrylic coatings. It can be used in combination with HALOX® 700. The dosage level of HALOX® 700 is 5-12% based on total formula weight. HALOX® 550 by ICL is an inorganic-organic hybrid sol-gel corrosion inhibitor that protects water-based and solvent-based coatings. It can boost the adhesion of the systems through the development of a sol-gel network and the formation of hydrophobic nano-domains within the coating. It is suitable for clear coats, direct-to-metal, latex primers, thin film coatings, acrylic emulsions, water-dispersible alkyds, alkyd emulsions, polyesters, epoxy, urethane, and high gloss coatings. It is easy to disperse, post-addable, and reduces white rust on galvanized and black rust on Galvalume™. It offers increased hydrophobicity, improved anti-fingerprint, and no effect on gloss.
