It controls surface tension in solvent based coating systems. Small additions may also contribute to improved flow, and a reduction in surface imperfections like craters, orange peel and pinholes. This product has a good compatibility with many wax dispersions giving good performance also in highly waxed coatings. Dynoadd® F-701B can be used in combination with Dynoadd® flow additives, in particular Dynoadd® F-101. view less

It is effective in radiation curing formulations at preventing generation of foam, and it is particularly effective in air release, thus reducing popping and pinholes. It can be used as a foam control and de-aerating additive in solvent-borne food contact coatings at levels up to 0.1%. Dynoadd® F-705 is recommended for use as defoamer and de-airator in thick film coatings (2K epoxy, UP, PUR). Dynoadd® F-705 has applications in packaging coatings, direct food contact, UV coatings, general industry, and floor coatings. The additive is compatible with most solvent-borne and non-solvent coating systems independently of lacquer chemistry. It may be used in all layers in multi-layered systems. view less
