Even when Deuteron MM 677 is added to the mill base or the dispersion-medium, overmilling is practically impossible due to its excellent shear stability. The matting liquid is kept free of wetting agent and binder. Their presence usually limits the compatibility. Waxes or similar products are not included either. Being a thermoset, Deuteron PMH C increases the blocking stability of coatings in which the employed binder shows a tendency towards thermoplasticity. Deuteron PMH C is resistant to temperatures above 200 °C. Color fastness and weather resistance are excellent. The use in exterior applications is possible without limitations. The coatings are recoatable. Deuteron PMH C is wax-free. Deuteron PMH C can be used as a matting agent in aqueous and solvent based coating systems.
