When metalworking oils are formulated to contain chlorinated paraffin, one always runs the risk of potential staining, especially in areas or times of high humidity, or when water contamination may occur. The chlorinated paraffin degrades and generates hydrochloric acid (HCL) which causes the corrosion on the manufactured parts and/or machine. DOVERFLEX 100 is recommended for incorporation into the cutting or forming oils, due to the targeted application, require the use of chlorinated paraffins as the primary EP performance package. view less
