Magnesium Aluminum Silicate MAS 103 USP / NF / BC is a highly purified, selected blend of white smectite clays supplied as small flakes to ease dispersion. Stabilizing and suspending agent for cosmetic, toiletry and pharmaceutical formulations. Especially useful for acidic preparations. MAS 103 has low acid demand and high acid compatibility. MAS 103 is stable in formulas with a pH range of 2.0 - 5.0. MAS 103 meets all requirements set forth by the current USP for Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Type IIA.
