Chia Seed (Spanish Sage) CO2-TO Extract (organic) is a yellow-orange, clear oil. This product can be produced by supercritical fluid extraction with natural carbon dioxide, no solvent residues, no inorganic salts, no heavy metals and no reproducible microorganisms. The extract is stabilized with 290 ppm carnosol and carnosic acid from organic FLAVEX Rosemary Antioxidant.
It can be applied externally in cosmetics for skin and hair care products because of the high concentration of alpha linolenic acid which helps to maintain moisture in the skin and hair and prevent drying and scaling. Classic anti-aging product and an important dermatitis formulation ingredient. Internally as food supplement.
