The Jarocol Basic Dyes are suitable for temporary and semi-permanent applications, in particular shampoo and conditioner products, due to their ability to colour hair in a short contact time. Basic dyes are too large to penetrate the cuticle and therefore coat the surface of the hair to produce an effect lasting between 1-8 washes. These products are applied without peroxide and therefore cannot produce results lighter than the original hair colour. view less

It is a truly red pearl pigment, showing shifting nuances from yellow-red to blue-red. In formulations, it offers a wide range of possible red and pink effects and a unique stability which makes it uncomparable amongst common red pigments (such as red organic lakes or pearl pigments with organic coatings). The Xirona® Color Travel pigments may be used in all cosmetic products, in combination with traditional pearl luster pigments as well as both organic and inorganic colors. They disperse well in both oil and water. view less
