Spectrastat™ CGE Natural MB is a plant-based, optimized combination of multifunctional ingredients that allows formulators to create self-preserving natural formulations. Spectrastat™ CGE Natural MB is ideal for personal care products as an alternative to parabens, phenoxyethanol, MIT or other preservatives that may be undesirable. The novel blend of Caprylhydroxamic Acid with Caprylyl Glyceryl Ether, a light emollient, creates a complete broad spectrum system that effectively controls bacteria, yeast, and mold over a broad pH range from pH 4 – 8 with a typical use level of 1.5 – 2.5% (w/w). Spectrastat™ CGE Natural MB has been demonstrated to be an effective in cleansing compositions, emulsions, wipes lotions and color cosmetics.
