Jarocol Violet 43 is a violet-purple free flowing powder composed of Acid Violet 43. Basic dyes are too large to penetrate the cuticle and therefore coat the surface of the hair to produce an effect lasting between 1-8 washes. Jarocol Violet 43 has the unique property of hiding yellow tints often seen in grey or bleached hair. Applied typically in shampoo or conditioner products, the dye deposits a small amount of color onto the hair shaft, giving a slight violet tint to neutralize the yellow. view less
