Cola®Mate DSLS-BA MB is a very mild, nearly colorless, sulfosuccinate derived from a three-mole ethoxylated lauryl alcohol. Cola®Mate DSLS-BA MB provides excellent foam properties which can be enhanced by blending with sodium Laureth sulfate. The combination of these two surfactants provides a product that is mild to both skin and eye, has good foam performance, and improves viscosity response. This grade is preserved with benzoic acid. ColaMate DSLS MB provides excellent foam properties which can be enhanced by blending with sodium Laureth sulfate. Combinations of ColaMate DSLS MB with other common primary and secondary surfactants provide products that are mild, high foaming, and with excellent viscosity response. This grade is preserved with a combination of MCIT/MIT. Other grades are also available. It is more than 65% bio-based carbon content due to the vegetable origin of the lauryl alcohol used in the product. This product is sulfate-free, PEG-free, and 1,4-dioxane-free – making it ideal for natural-based, sulfate-free formulations. It provides very dense, voluminous foam when used to formulate personal cleansers, is mild to the eyes, and is useful in sensitive skin cleansers. Despite its high Krafft point, Cola®Mate LA-40 MB can be used to formulate clear products.
