GIOVAREZ® 1800 is the homopolymer of octadecyl vinyl ether. It is a 100% active, water insoluble, waxy, nonionic resin. Since it melts at about 45ºC, it can easily be incorporated into waxes where it can be utilized as a melting point depressant. It can be applied in mascara for volumizing and water resistance, in lipstick to provide gloss, and to increase volume in hair products. L-Hexuron® is amphiphilic, which makes it compatible in a broad array of emulsion systems and clear lotions.
L-Hexuron® is recommended especially for skin lightening and collagen stimulation. L-Hexuron® is found in anti-aging products, foundations, sunscreens, masks, facial moisturizers, and conditioners. The recommended usage of L-Hexuron® is 0.1% to 3.0%. view less
