Water dispersions of Synthalen® W2000 are characterized by high viscosity and clarity. Immediate dispersion and compatibility with PVP and PVP/VA make Synthalen® W2000 an excellent polymer for formulating hair gels. Synthalen® W2000 also shows strong thickening and suspending efficacy with surfactants. Thanks to its resistance to alkali, Synthalen® W2000 can be used in formulations where high pH is required. Normal use is 0.5-7% depending on type of formulation and desired viscosity. view less
