EnSense™ Silk DIPA, or Diisopropyl Adipate, is a diester of isopropyl alcohol and adipic acid that delivers a light, dry feel to skin and hair. It is considered a dry, non-greasy ester with rapid absorption used to reduce tackiness and lighten the feel of heavier emollients. It has excellent solvent power and is non-volatile. Futhermore, it is well suited for hydroalcoholic formulations.
