ECOCAPS-SPEARMINT are aqueous based polymeric microcapsules of encapsulated spearmint oil to be used mainly as an antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory agent in cosmetic formulations. ECOCAPS-SPEARMINT ensures high encapsulation stability of the essential oil against degradation and prevents undesired interactions with external surfactants. It is dispersible in water without any external surfactant. During application, the product releases the tea tree oil through the controlled breakage of some capsules when rubbed onto the skin. However, some of the capsules remain in the skin, providing a prolonged local effect that intensifies the activity and results in a long-lasting effect. This product is recommended for creams, lotions, serums, gels, deodorants, shampoos, conditioners, and more. view less
