Debido que no se requiere DMPA para formular prepolímeros dispersables en agua, se puede reducir o eliminar el NMP de las formulaciones. Los prepolímeros formulados con productos Dicap® presentan muy buena solubilidad en monómeros para aplicaciones híbridas y en acetona para PUD sin solventes. Según el peso molecular del poliol DICAP® y la técnica de formulación, se pueden formular películas duras para revestimientos duraderos o se pueden formular polímeros de uretano blando para revestimientos textiles y cueros.
