El etil sustituyente forma un éter con el grupo 3 hidroxilo del ácido ascórbico, lo que genera mayor estabilidad. L-Hexuron™ es amfifílico, por lo que es compatible en una gran variedad de sistemas de emulsiones y lociones blanqueadoras.
Se recomienda el uso de L-Hexuron especialmente para aclarar la piel y estimular el colágeno.
