ALKOSYNT® IT 100 is a nonionic surfactant, whose hydrophobic portion of the molecule comes from isotridecyl alcohol, and the hydrophilic portion is from the ethylene oxide chain. It is generally unaffected by hard water ions and maintains its chemical and physical stability in alkaline and acid medium, and under varying temperature conditions. This product has an HLB value of 13.8.
