This product has a flow time at 23°C, (4mmcup) of ≤ 50, a non-volatile content (1g / 1h / 125°C) of 39 ± 1, and a pH level of 7.75 ± 0.75. Bayhydrol® UV 2282 is used in the formulation of High Quality Waterborne UV-curing Wood coatings, that will normally pass the DIN 68 861-1B norm. After the water has evaporated, the coating is physically dry and handable. UV-Curing (10 m/min per 80 W/cm lamp) will result in a very high final quality. The photo initiator demand is low, 1-2% will be enough (by wt., calculated on solid binder). Coatings based on Bayhydrol® UV 2282 will show good adherence to many substrates, including plastics. voir moins

This product has a non-volatile content (1g / 1h / 125°C, convection oven) of 38-40, a viscosity at 23°C of < 80, and a pH level of approx. 7.5-9. For the formulation of weather resistant coatings, the use of light protecting agents (preferably a combination of UV absorbers and hindered amine light stabilizers) is recommended. A modification of the photoinitiator component towards longer absorbing types (MAPO, BAPO) might be necessary. The resulting formulation should always be tested in weathering experiments with regard to the specific substrate, application and curing conditions. voir moins

Main applications of this product are plastic coatings (e.g mobile phones) and wood coatings. Before UV curing, the surface of dried films is soft and slightly tacky, whereas after UV-curing, the coatings are hard with high chemical and mechanical resistance. The product is suitable to achieve high gloss coatings. This product has a non-volatile content (1g / 1h / 125°C, convection oven) of 40.0-44.0, a flow time at 23°C, (4 mm cup) of 15.0-50.0, and a pH level of 7.0-8.5. This product is especially suitable for 3C plastic applications e.g. mobile phones and laptops where high performance coatings are required. It is possible to formulate hard high gloss or deep matt clear coats as well as single layer metallic coatings. The resulting coating provides excellent performance meeting the strict requirements of 3C applications. voir moins

This is a clear lacquer that is characterized by its good reemulsification properties and high wet film transparency. This product has a non-volatile content (1g / 1h / 125°C, convection oven) of 35.5-37.5, a flow time at 23°C, (4 mm cup) of 15-80, and a pH-value of 6.8-8.5. Bayhydrol® UV 2317 is used in the formulation of aqueous UV-curing coatings, especially for application on wood/wood materials. Generally speaking, the coated surfaces can be sanded before UV curing. Additions of 1-2.5% by wt. photoinitiator, calculated on the solid binder, have proved suitable for initiating the curing reaction. The viscosity is adjusted by the addition of polyurethane thickeners. If antifoams are used, they should be thinned in solvents, especially if application is by curtain coating. voir moins
