CERTENE™ PHM-35 North America
PHM-35 is a certified prime grade Polypropylene designed for injection molding of lightweight and thin-walled applications. PHM-35 combines a good balance of high flow processability with high clarity, good tensile strength, short cycling, excellent dimensional stability, and good surface finishing. PHM-35 applications include long-flow path moldings, multi-cavity molds difficult to fill such as caps, closures and lids, housewares articles, containers, and large flat trays. PHM-35 processing temperature is 215° to 235°C with mold at 20°-50°C. PHM-35 complies with FDA regulation 21CFR 177.1520 and most international regulations concerning the use of Polypropylene in contact with food.
CERTENE™ PHM-35AN North America
PHM-35AN is a certified prime grade Nucleated Polypropylene designed for injection molding of lightweight and thin-walled articles. PHM-35AN contains antistatic and offers good balance of high flow processability with high contact clarity, good tensile strength, short cycling, excellent dimensional stability, and good surface finishing. PHM-35AN applications include intricate long-flow path designs, multi-cavity parts, caps, closures, housewares, containers and toys. PHM-35AN processing temperature is between 220° to 240°C with mold at 20°-50°C. PHM-35AN complies with FDA regulation 21CFR 177.1520 and most international regulations concerning Polypropylene use in contact with food.
CERTENE™ PHM-35R Latin America
PHM-35R is a certified prime grade CONTROLLED RHEOLOGY developed for INJECTION MOLDING of high performance general purpose applications. PHM-35R combines high flow and easy processability with fast cycling and mechanical properties of moldings similar to a 4 to 6 Melt Flow grade. PHM-35R applications include thin-walled multi-cavity caps, closures and lids, household articles, medical syringes, and items requiring good dimensional stability free of warpage, such as straight-sided video cassette boxes. PHM-35R processing temperature is 220° to 240°C with mold at 20°- 50°C. PHM-35R complies with FDA regulation 21CFR 177.1520 (c)1.1a concerning the Polypropylene use in contact with food articles.
CERTENE™ PHM-5A North America
PHM-5A is a certified prime grade Polypropylene specially designed for extrusion and injection molding applications. PHM-5A contains antistatic and combines good processability and high thermal stability, with medium flow, high tensile strength, good stiffness and good contact clarity. PHM-5A applications include drinking straws, small profiles, housewares, toys, and technical parts subject to normal stresses. PHM-5A recommended processing temperature is between 210° to 230°C. PHM-5A complies with FDA regulation 21CFR 177.1520 and with most international regulations concerning the use of Polypropylene in contact with food. Specific certificates are available upon request.
CERTENE™ PHM-70 Latin America
PHM-70 is a certified prime grade developed for INJECTION MOLDING and COMPOUNDING general purpose applications. PHM-70 offers excellent high melt flow and easy processability. PHM-70 applications include thin-walled multi-cavity caps, closures and lids, household articles, medical syringes, and items requiring good dimensional stability free of warpage, such as straight-sided video cassette boxes. CERTENE™ PHO-2 North America
PHO-2 is a certified prime grade Polypropylene designed for high speed cast-extrusion of high clarity Biaxially Oriented films. PHO-2 combines very good processability and thermal stability with excellent cleanness, homogeneity and stability of melt minimizing potential film thickness variations and die "plate-out". PHO-2 films exhibit outstanding opticals, excellent balance of mechanical properties, good stiffness, high barrier to fats and oils, and good chemical resistance. PHO-2 applications include films for high quality textile packaging: shirts, blankets and hosiery, packaging of bakery products and snacks, and heat sterilization packaging. PHP-1 is a certified prime grade Polypropylene specially designed for PROFILE EXTRUSION. PHP-1 combines excellent processability, enhanced Long-Term Thermal Stability. PHS-1 is a certified prime grade Polypropylene specially designed for EXTRUSION of Water-Quench Cast Film for Slit Tape applications. PHS-1 combines excellent processability, very good thermal stability, and high degree of purity with Low Water Carry-over and good balance of tape strength and orientation properties. PST-1 applications include stretched tapes for textile Tape & Raffia uses, such as strapping tape, woven industrial sacks, carpet backing, tarpaulins and geotextiles. Recommended processing temperatures of PHS-1 are: 1) tape - 210° to 220°C in barrel and 230-250°C in head, and 2) multifilament - 210° to 230°C. PHS-1 complies with FDA regulation 21CFR 177.1520 and with most international regulations concerning the use of Polypropylene in contact with food articles.
CERTENE™ PHS-2 North America
PHS-2 is a certified prime grade Homopolymer specially designed for extrusion of sheet for thermoforming processes. PHS-2 contains a nucleating agent featuring high clarity and excellent melt strength. PHS-2 complies with FDA regulation 21CFR 177.1520(c) 3.2a concerning the Polypropylene use in contact with food articles.
