In particular, it is the ideal tool in order tomatch a given Stormer viscosity (medium shear viscosity). Therefore, compared to cellulosic ethers, it provides both better in-can appearance and coating properties: the better control of the medium shear viscosity allows to reinforce the in-can consistency, thus the perceived quality of the paint.
