ADDITOL ITX is particularly suited to the curing of inks and pigmented coatings. In combinations with tertiary amine co-initiators such as EBECRYL® P104, EBECRYL P115, EBECRYL 7100 or MDEA, ADDITOL ITX provides good through cure along with surface cure. When used in formulations in combination with a photosensitizer (e.g. ADDITOL® BP), EBECRYL® P115 provides rapid UV cure response in air by mitigating the effects of oxygen inhibition at the coating or ink surface. It has recommended levels are from 5 to 15% based on the total formulation, usually combined with 3-5% photosensitizer.
