Seatons White Beeswax remains popular, after washing and filtering, for use in candle making and in the manufacture of comb foundation. For most commercial uses however, beeswax requires further filtration and bleaching, after which it is graded by colour, white or yellow. Further home care uses include car and furniture polishes. Beeswax has an ability to make harder natural waxes, such as carnauba wax, workable. It gives a high gloss finish to vehicle paintwork and its hydrophobic (water repellant) properties help the wax adhere to paintwork, which in turn increases durability. 收起
