In comparison to ANTI-TERRA-203, ANTI-TERRA-204 can additionally be used in non-polar systems and is compatible with white spirits. The lower the polarity the more the thixotropy is increased. The preferred binders are long, medium and short oil alkyds, PVC-copolymers, chlorinated rubber and epoxy. Even in "low-filled“ systems, the sagging tendency is reduced; in addition, no negative influence on the water sensitivity of the paint film has been observed. When formulated into anticorrosion primers, the protective properties are enhanced in many instances. view less Request Sample

It contains multiple active groups which attach to fumed silica particles and stabilize the existing network. This controlled flocculation effect prevents the fumed silica particles settling in the resin. The side effects are increased thixotropy and improved sag resistance. The typical “stir-before-use” procedure is no longer necessary. The additive guarantees safe handling and improved storage stability of the laminating resin. It is specially recommended for alkyd resin based systems. This product consists of a combination of active ingredients with very good wetting and dispersion-promoting properties and also anti-settling properties during storage. It inhibits both re-agglomeration of the pigments and formation of hard sediment. Borchi® Gen 911 brings about rapid wetting and thus shortens the grinding process. The extremely fine pigment grind also leads to improved pigment yield, greater color intensity and better hiding power. It can be used in virtually all conventional lacquers and oil paints and is particularly suitable for systems containing pigments with a tendency to settle. view less
