In the food processing industry it is used as a buffer, chelating agent, stabilizer, antioxidant, emulsifier and for flavoring. It can also be used as an emulsifier in cheese. It can also be used in jelly, jam, meat and tinned pastry and refreshing in oranges. It is packed with polyethylene bag as liner and a compound plastic woven bag as the outer layer.
