It can be readily dissolved in monomers and resins, is less hazardous, and is easier to use than dry or technical forms of dibenzoyl peroxide (provided the water content and plasticizer are not objectionable. Benox® L-50E is primarily used as a curing agent and polymerization initiator for acrylic, monomeric vinyl, styrene, co-polymers, unsaturated polyester/vinyl ester resins, and copolymers of these resins. It can also be used in two-part adhesive systems, based on methacrylate or polyester resins, where the creamy consistency allows uniform mixing of the components. view less
Doublecure® 369 Double Bond Chemical Ind., Co., Ltd. This pale yellow powder may be used after adequate testing alone or in combination with suitable coinitiators, e.g., Doublecure® 184, for UV curable inks and varnishes for applications on paper, metal and plastic materials. Its high absorptivity makes it especially suitable for pigmented UV-curable systems, photo resists and printing plates. view less

High photospeed combined with improved shelf life helps make it the initiator of choice for many applications, including coating on wood, metal and plastic as well as photo-resistant dry film. Doublecure® BDK, when irradiating with UV light , undergoes a homolytic and intramolecular type of breakage to generate a pair of free radicals to initiate the polymerization of UV curable systems. It does not require hydrogen donor to initiate its radicals. However, its radicals are very sensitive to oxygen in the air. Because its polymerization end products contain quinone type of compounds which result in the yellowing effect, its application has been limited. It is usually used to initiate polymerization of systems based on unsaturated acrylic monomers as reactive diluents. view less
