It is a solution of a hydroxyfunctional carboxylic acid ester with pigment affinic groups. This product was especially developed for solvent-borne architectural paints to stabilize titanium dioxide, extenders and other inorganic and organic pigments. Often the extender content can be increased without losing gloss. Mill-base viscosity is reduced drastically. White base paints stabilized with DISPERBYK®-107 have better color acceptance and do not demonstrate flooding and floating when tinted with universal colorants. This product is designed primarily for usage in high solids and in solvent-free systems. Because of its anionic character, it is ideal for acid catalyzed systems (such as coil coatings). DISPERBYK-111stabilizes inorganic pigments, and is particularly effective with titanium dioxide. It increases gloss, reduces haziness (especially in high rotation “minibell“ and / or other electrostatically applied systems) and dramatically reduces millbase viscosity.
