Pasta Lensi is made with only the finest 100% premium durum wheat semolina. The semolina is selected for its high protein and gluten qualities which help the pasta to remain al dente (firm to the bite). The pasta is also made using bronze dies which give it a rough and porous texture improving the eating experience.
Each variety, with its unique size and shape, is further distinguished by its al dente quality and ability to enfold any combination of sauces and ingredients you choose to serve your customers. The artisan pasta-making tradition of Italy’s Pastificio Lensi comes to the U.S. as a brand of genuine distinction. Its makers continue to innovate while remaining true to the authentic, Old-World methods, traditions and standards.
Company
American Italian Pasta Company are North America's largest marketers and producers of dry pasta. They offer four brands of pasta to the food service industry. These brands are R&F, Lensi, Heartland (which includes a gluten free pasta) and Montalcino. AIPC pasta offers ingredients of high quality semolina, a great golden color, a better value because it remains ‘al dente’ longer - even when overcooked.
