Guar Gum - Powder

Guar gum powder, also referred to as guaran, is a high viscosity naturally derived raw material obtained by de-husking and splitting the seeds of the guar plant. After a thorough steaming and drying process, the end-product is a white fine powder largely procured for food and beverage manufacturing to thicken and stabilize a formulation. It is often used in baking applications to improve the texture and consistency, as well as prolong a product’s shelf life. Guar gum powder can be found in chewing gum, ice cream, yogurt, marinades, plant-based milks, and soups, to name a few. It finds additional value-added use in the nutraceutical realm in the production of dietary supplements as well.
