Ginger Oleoresin is is obtained through CO2 extraction of the dried rhizome of Zingiber officinale. It is a reddish brown oil with the pungent, characteristic odor of ginger. Ginger Oleoresin is employed for flavoring all kinds of food products and finds limited use in perfumery. It is used as an aromatic, carminative, stomachic and as a stimulant.
