Egg Yolk Powder (Retorting) is a high-protein powder made from hen egg yolks. It is made as a replacement for liquid egg yolks, and is used as an ingredient in other food products. Egg Yolk Powder Retorting (code EYP-MRT) is a variety of egg yolk powder used specifically in emulsions produced industrially at extreme temperatures (sterilization, retorting, pasteurization). It also serves as a natural bread stabilizer as it slows the retrogradation of starch.

It is used in industrial bakeries, kitchens, hospitals, schools, etc. as well as in the catering and meat processing industry. Egg Yolk Powder (Retorting) has an elevated heat resistance, which makes it suitable for high temperature processing.
