Busan® 1498 is a nonmetallic, 98%-active, 3-iodo-2-propynyl butyl carbamate (IPBC) off-white solid. It is a broad-spectrum fungicide for use in aqueous and solvent-based applications. Busan® 1498 inhibits the growth of mildew in solventbased paints and waterborne paints, stains, and latex emulsions. It can be used as an additive to nonmedical, nonfood use natural and synthetic adhesives, caulks, patching compounds, sealants, grouts, and latexes, such as SBR/latex flooring adhesives, and carpet back ings to prevent the growth of fungi, molds, and mildews in the material, both in the wet state and in the dry film of the finished product. Busan® 1498 may also be used to prevent surface mildew growth on plastic items, such as shower curtains, cable and wire insulation, sun umbrellas, polymer furniture, filter medias, polymer components of carpet, etc. Intended plastics include polymers, such as PVC, polyurethanes, elastomers and rubbers, neoprene, styrene compounds, polyolefins, etc.

Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
Adding Items
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
Create a New List
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
Multiple Lists
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
Explore Your Lists
Easily see which Lists this item appears in, and quickly go to that List from the links that appear on the page.
