Meritose® - Dextrose Monohydrate is a white powder that is produced by enzymatic hydrolysis of starch followed by purification, concentration, crystallization, and drying. It has a sweet taste and a neutral odor. This product is used as a sweetener, a fermentation substrate, an humectant, or a carrier. It can be used in the production of confectioneries, beverages, ice cream & sorbet, bread, pastries, cereals, dairy products, meat & fish products, soups, sauces, dressings, and dry mixes. This product is used in functional food and nutrition applications.
