IQF Sliced Black Ripe Olives

IQF Sliced Black Ripe Olives are produced from California grown olives. The mature, cured black olives are sized, pitted and sliced. The sliced olives are inspected, rinsed with fresh water and pass through an HT/ST (High Temperature/Short Time) microbiological system that guarantees a pathogen free product. The sliced olives are then individually quick frozen (IQF) to preserve natural flavor and color, screened for uniform size, metal detected and packed in poly lined cases or totes. Finished product is stored at -10° F.

Benefits for this product are: No cans to open. Eliminates possibility of metal fragments. No draining of brine before use. Free flowing IQF Sliced Black Ripe Olives are easily added to any recipe. 100% usable – no waste. Safety: White Oak’s proprietary HT/ST microbiological control system results in a product meeting RTE quality standards. Economy: 100% yield of IQF Sliced Black Ripe Olives compared to 55% drained weight yield of #10 tins. Reduces transportation, handling and storage costs by up to 50% (measured using total gross shipping weight).

May be used in any application where Sliced Black Ripe Olives are required, such as refrigerated and frozen pizzas, entrees, deli salads, pita wraps, dips, garnishes, appetizers, etc. IQF Sliced Black Ripe Olives may be added directly to frozen or refrigerated preparations. Add frozen or defrosted to fresh or frozen products as appropriate.
