Carob Powder 5

Carob Powder 5 is a fine and dark chestnut colored powder that is made of the roasted, finely ground pulp of the Carob tree and is available in different colors which correspond to the grade of roasting. Low in fat and high in fiber, this grade 5 coloring and flavoring agent is 90% soluble in hot water, and insoluble in cold water. It finds application in bakery products, breakfast cereal, chocolate, milk and soy shakes, and coatings and spreads.
