It is produced by means of a steam stripping process that yields a low-odor and low color resin suitable for food ingredient application. This resin is produced from glycerin from non-animal origin and gum rosin harvested from pine trees. All kosher products produced by Eastman are manufactured under rabbinical supervision in full accordance with Jewish dietary law.
