SUN'ALG® is a marine agent that brings a potent protection against damaging effects of UVA-UVB radiations as well as blue light exposure. It contains two microalgal extracts prepared from Dunaliella salina (mainly rich in -carotene) and Haematococcus pluvialis (chiefly rich in astaxantin), bringing additional protective capacity. It is able to reinforce the skin’ defence mechanisms by up regulating various genes involved in the oxidative stress, DNA repair, the antimicrobial defence and the reinforcement of the barrier function, provide reinforced protection against both UVA and UVB radiations and prevent the formation of sun burn cells from the negative effects of UV rays.
